Step outside of the Phillips offices and enter The Bite Of Seattle!

I do appreciate that I work downtown, right in the hub of the city. Close to everything, but this weekend I am even happier about our location. This weekend is the Annual Seattle Eating Festival– The Bite of Seattle. What can be better than a whole festival dedicated to eating, drinking, listening to music and EATING!

Sure the Bite of Seattle might mess traffic up downtown for a bit, but where else can you get Alligator on A Stick? And for those that want to spend a litte bit more and get a fancier meal, check out The Alley  hosted by Tom Douglas and all proceeds benefit Foodlife Line. If you are not up for Alligator, you can find a variety of delicious items from Grilled Flat Iron Steak with Sweet Corn & Blueberry Relish to Spicy Calamari Topped with Saffron Aioli on Bruschetta. Sounds wonderful!

The Bite of Seattle has Food and beverage from over 60 restaurants, 30 food product companies, arts and craft vendors, a wine-tasting, five outdoor music stages, a kids’ stage, comedy club, beer gardens and featured attractions for food aficionados. 11 a.m.- 9 p.m. July 15-16, 11 a.m.-8 p.m. July 17.

This is what is happening in our neighborhood this weekend. Come down and check it out. What’s going on in your neighborhood this weekend?
