Curb Appeal Is Your First Impression

Landscaping is something that every property owner needs to consider. Whether you own a rental property and are looking for new tenants, a home owner looking to sell your home or an owner that is staying put and trying to increase your property value. The first impression of your property is the exterior, in a property management situation when your potential tenants walk up to the door they are checking out how you take care of your property and if you are not keeping it updated and clean on the outside, this might be a precursor to what the tenants will find on the inside. As summer is coming to an end, kids are going back to school and fall leaves are turing color, it will also be important to keep up the landscaping and maintenance during the fall and winter months, although the grass will not grow as fast, keeping the property well maintained year round is still needed. Talk to your property management company about setting up regular landscaping on a monthly basis over the summer and maybe every 6-8weeks in the fall and winter months to clean up falling leaves and other issues.
