Stay Warm Over The Cooler Months

keeping warmAs the temperature drops outside, we tend to turn the heat up inside and that in turn makes our bills go up too! This article from the Seattle Times has some great tips, especially for renters, on how to stay warm over these cooler months. Working with your landlord, you can check for drafts in your windows and doors and possibly put in some weather stripping. This will help keep the heat in the house, instead of slipping out. Curling up with a warm beverage and an extra blanket are also good tips. Always remember to keep space heaters away from curtains and furniture and put your fire all the way out before heading to bed. More tips can be found here too.
