This article from HOA Pulse has some great info on what it really takes to have the Manager’s Job.¬†Managing a Homeowners Association is not just about understanding the ins and out of the building and the laws surrounding your specific community, but really it is about understanding how to deal with people and the many different personalities that live in the building and participate on the board. Being able to communicate efficiently is first on the list. Being a productive consultant and negotiator are also important skills to have when being involved in the many changing aspects that go on in the community.
