Fall Maintenance – It’s Almost Time!

autumn-houseNow that most kids are back to school, the weather will be changing soon and that means Fall Maintenance. This is the time of year to clean the gutters, clean up the outdoor furniture and garden tools and get ready for the rain and the winter weather to make its way into our shorter and cooler days. This article has 10 easy tips for getting your home ready for fall. It is always great to prepare your fireplace for the upcoming winter months, this is also a good time to fix leaky pipes and spouts, to avoid bursting or broken pipes in the freezing winter. If you are in a rental home, make sure to check in with your landlord or property manager before taking on big jobs, like gutter cleaning and roof repairs. This might already be on their list and they may have professionals that can help.
